STARLIGHT TORRALBA D'EN SALORT

The Torralba Starlight project was born from interest in heritage education, astronomy, archaeology, the night sky and photography with stars, an opportunity to offer awareness-raising and educational activities, as well as to highlight the World Heritage candidacy. of UNESCO in the Talayotic Village Torralba d'en Salort.

• Torralba Starlight thematic visit: It is a tour of the main most characteristic elements of the town of Torralba d'en Salort, called "seasons". A visit from the present to understand or interpret the past. An experience to learn about and identify the main summer constellations, nebulae, the Moon, Pleiades, etc. of the celestial vault. An opportunity to explore the cosmos and make astronomical observations with binoculars and the naked eye.

• Starlight family visits: For groups interested in living an experience that combines the use of digital resources and practical experience. You will learn about the main constellations of the hemisphere, the Milky Way, planets and satellites in a fun and educational way. We will make different stops called "stations" that coincide with the main most characteristic elements of the town, and then observe the celestial vault with binoculars and with the naked eye. Come learn by playing.
